Gianni's Italian Cuisine
is a family owned and operated restaurant. Though the setting for their
restaurant is new, the food is steeped in traditions from Chef Giuseppe
DeStefano’s homeland in Fiore, Calabria, Italy — and hours spent in
Grandmother Rosa’s kitchen. After time spent as a chef in New York and
then Dallas, Chef Giuseppe moved his family to San Antonio in 2006 to
bring their sense of Italian cuisine to the River City.
Word of Chef Giuseppe’s
authentic Italian cuisine quickly spread through the city, and Gianni’s
was honored with the “2006 Critic’s Choice Award” from the San Antonio
Express News. The restaurant boasts of a large selection of
extraordinary dishes including traditional items like mouth watering
Chicken Parmigiana to the Chef's specialty dishes like Spaghetti a la
Gianni. The restaurant has a wonderful variety of wines that will go
well with whichever meal you happen to choose.
